Make your wedding day extra special by booking your very own ice cream server on a beautifully restored 1920s High Nelly vintage bike from Andy's Ice Cream Hire. I’ll be dressed in traditional attire, ready to serve your guests with style and a smile.

Every guest will enjoy a generous scoop of our premium ice cream, served in a cone or cup, complete with a classic chocolate flake. We offer all the popular flavors as standard, but if you have a particular favorite, simply let us know when booking—we’ll do our best to make it happen.

Our service typically runs for 1 to 1.5 hours, either outside the church or at your chosen venue, making it a delightful treat during your special day.

We proudly serve weddings across all of Ireland. Depending on the distance and the size of your event, a reasonable travel surcharge may apply to cover the transport of our bike and equipment. Any extra costs are clearly outlined in your quote. As a small family-run business, we’re dedicated to giving 100% to every couple we work with.

The Story Behind Andy's Ice Cream Bike

The journey began in February 2019, when a box of rusty metal arrived containing a 1920s High Nelly bicycle. As part of our family-run business, Tallaght Powder Coating, we were inspired to restore the bike and entered it into The Late Late Show’s antiques restoration challenge.

With a budget of €800 and three months to work, we collaborated with Ireland’s top bike builder, Marty from High Nelly in Limerick. Thanks to careful restoration and expert powder coating, the bike was returned to its former glory and showcased on The Late Late Show in May 2019.

Since then, we’ve added a fridge unit to the bike for ice cream storage and service. Today, Andy’s Ice Cream Bike travels across Ireland, delighting guests at weddings, corporate events, and special celebrations with delicious, nostalgic ice cream.
